...building work has now commenced with the exciting development of further provision for young children in the area. Along with this development comes the transformation of our extensive outdoor environment.
The development will further enable children from the local community to experience a multi-sensory learning environment with the focus being placed on exploring and experimenting in the natural world.
Intended completion date is set for September 2018 with the further expansion of the outdoors being finalised in Spring 2019.
The project comes with additional Health and Safety considerations for which extra measures will be put in place and strictly adhered to. The wellbeing of the children is our utmost concern as well that of our team of staff and anyone who visits the nursery. This critical factor was at the forefront of our decision making when selecting a building contractor to award the work to. We are pleased to confirm the contractor selected is well established and has specific experience conducting building projects at childcare facilities and is someone who we trust to uphold the highest Health and Safety standards during the project. The reference number for the HSE F-10 ‘Notice of Construction Project’ is: 05DAF10CEE.

Thanks to the dedicated hard work and commitment provided by all of the Brookfield team, this project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The purpose of the contributory grant is to support the construction of an extension to the existing building to enable provision of a greater number of childcare places to the local community.
